SAVAGE, MD - Refined Concepts, LLC is thrilled to help the new non-profit company, Maryland Foster Youth Resource Center! This organization connects current and former foster youth with necessary resources needed to grow in the community. On October 24th, Refined Concepts' founding principal, Renee D. Holtz, will be attending the ESSENCE Magazine 5th Annual Leadership Summit in Mid-town New York. Alongside current and future female African American leaders, in attendence will be Robin Roberts, Star Jones, Dr. Juanita Bynum and a host of others. Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.

WASHINGTON, DC - July 11-18,2008, the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. celebrated their Centennial Anniversary at the Washington Convention Center. Refined Concepts was pleased to see 23,000+ of the attending members carrying their 500+ pages of commemoration. Having acquired the contract to design this journal in late 2006, the finished product was long awaited. We were honored to contribute towards such a upstanding group of women, as well as, organize the laying-out of their first journal containing color pages. We look forward to continuing working alongside this historic organization and with others like it! Thank you to all who made this possible!
